Johannesburg Airport to Skukuza Rest Camp

We have arranged a transfer travelling from Johannesburg to Skukuza Rest Camp on Sunday 21 July and Monday 22 July. The transfer will depart at 10:00am on both days  and arrive by 5.30pm at Skukuza Rest Camp.

  • Dates: Sunday 21 July and Monday 22 July
  • Departure Point: Foyer of City Lodge Hotel at OR Tambo International Airport
  • Departure Time: 10am (both days)
  • Cost: Adults – USD$95, Children (2-12) – USD$65
  • Includes: Coach travel, site entry fees
  • Not Included: Lunch, drinks, optional attractions

The coach will travel via a panoramic route to Skukuza, which is approximately 392 km. Stops will include:

  • Dullstroom (known as Emnothweni) for lunch
  • Three Rondavels – imposing quartzite peaks are named after the three wives of the Mapulane Chief Maripi Mashile (Magabolle, Mogoladikwe and Maseroto)
  • Bourke’s Luck Potholes – carved by the confluence of Blyde and Treur rivers
  • God’s window – views of the Lowveld escarpment at an altitude of about 1,730m
  • Graskop Gorge

A minimum of 10 people are required for each transfer.

Skukuza Rest Camp to Johannesburg Airport

We have arranged a transfer from Skukuza Rest Camp to OR Tambo Airport on Friday 26 July.

  • Date: Friday 26 July
  • Departure Point: Conference Centre, Skukuza Rest Camp
  • Departure Time: 2.30pm
  • Travel Time: Approximately 5 hours
  • Cost: Adults – USD$75, Children (2-12) – USD$55
  • Includes: Coach travel only

A minimum of 10 people are required for each transfer.

Transfers from Skukuza Airport to Skukuza Rest Camp

Transfers will be organised from Skukuza Airport to Skukuza Rest Camp on Sunday 21 July and Monday 22 July to meet flight arrivals as per the below. The cost is USD$7 per Adult/Child and bookings are essential.

An International Conference Series

The conference brings together scientists and natural resource managers working in the disciplines of global change, biogeography and evolution, and relevant in contexts of natural resource management, biodiversity management and conservation, and theoretical ecology.


Species responses to climate change is a rapidly evolving research field, however, much of our progress is being made in independent research areas: e.g. understanding the process vs responding to the implications, terrestrial vs marine ecosystems, global meta-analyses vs in depth species-specific approaches. This interdisciplinary conference develops connections between these parallel streams, and across temporal and spatial scales.
